ÖNSÖZ

Bu kitaba bir şekilde ulaşan sevgili kardeşim... Şunu bil ki hiçbir karşılaşma tesadüf değildir. Buraya kadar gelirken dikenli yollardan geçtin. Defalarca yıkıldın, defalarca yaralandın. İnandığın insanlar seni terk etti, güvendiğin düşünceler çöktü. Bazen dünyaya sığamadın, bazen kendine yabancılaştın. Ama bütün bunlara rağmen hâlâ ayaktasın, hâlâ nefes alıyorsun. Bunun mutlaka bir sebebi var. Şimdi ise bütün yaşamlarının belki de en derin kırılma noktasındasın. Buradan sonra ya eski benliğin yaşamaya devam edecek ya da hakikati arayan gerçek benliğin uyanmaya başlayacak.

Sana ilk tavsiyemiz, şimdiye kadar doğru bildiğin her şeyi bir süreliğine unutmandır. Çünkü dolu bir zihne hakikat sığmaz. Hakikat, ancak boşalmayı göze alabilen bir bilince kendisini göstermeye başlar. Bu kitabı okurken hangi dine mensup olduğunun, hangi mezhebi benimsediğinin, hangi milletten geldiğinin ya da nasıl bir yaşam sürdüğünün hakikat mertebesinde hiçbir önemi yoktur. Bunların hepsi zaman içinde edinilmiş kimliklerdir. Bizim için tek önemli olan, gerçekten insan olabilmendir. Çünkü insan olmak yalnızca bir bedene sahip olmak değil, özündeki ilahi vicdanı yeniden uyandırabilmektir.

Eğer bu satırlarda metafizik gösteriler, gizemli güçler veya zihnini heyecanlandıracak olağanüstü sırlar arıyorsan, aradığını bulamayacaksın. Fakat gerçekten hakikati arıyorsan, acının içinden geçmeye hazır olmalısın. Çünkü hakikat ödül değildir; hakikat ateştir. Önce yakar, sonra arındırır. Önce senden sana ait olmadığını sandığın her şeyi alır, ardından özünde var olanı sessizce ortaya çıkarır. Bu yüzden kendine şu soruyu sormanı isteriz: Eğer hakikate tek bir ömür içinde ulaşılabiliyor olsaydı, bunca yaşam, bunca acı, bunca ayrılık ve bunca kefaret ne içindi? Ruh neden tekrar tekrar unutmayı seçsin, neden yeniden doğsun ve neden yeniden aramaya başlasın? Belki de hakikat hiçbir zaman öğretilmedi; yalnızca insana hatırlatıldı.

Hanif yaratımını bu sayfalarda arıyorsan, onu burada bulamayacaksın. Çünkü yaratılış açıklanamaz, tarif edilemez; yaratılış ancak görülebilir. Onu görebilmek için gözlerini değil, idrakini açman gerekir. Bu nedenle acele etme. Basamakları yavaş yavaş çık, her cümleyi sindirerek oku ve öz benliğini her an çağır. Çünkü hakikat koşarak ulaşılacak bir hedef değil, insanın her adımda yeniden doğduğu sonsuz bir yürüyüştür.

İçindeki sesi dinlemeyi öğren. Sessizliğin içinde saklı olan bilgiyi fark etmeye çalış. Akaşa'ya, yani Levh-i Mahfuz olarak isimlendirilen ilahi hafızaya ulaşmanın yolu ezberlerden değil, saf bilinçten geçer. Okumayı öğren; fakat bunu yalnızca gözlerinle değil, vicdanınla yap. Boyutların ötesine geçmeye, maddenin sınırlarını aşmaya ve isimlere bağımlı kalmamaya gayret et. Çünkü hakikat hiçbir kavrama, hiçbir boyuta ve hiçbir kalıba sığmaz.

Yöntemin sana özgü olsun. Hiç kimsenin yolunu körü körüne taklit etme. Her ruhun yürüyüşü kendine hastır ve seni hakikate götürecek yol, başkasının yolu olmayabilir. Fakat vicdanından bir milim bile uzaklaşma. Çünkü hakikatin gerçek pusulası bilgi, güç veya zihin değildir; vicdandır. Ancak bugün konuşan vicdan değil, arzuların, korkuların ve nefsinin örttüğü perdedir. Gerçek vicdanını tanımaya başladığında, artık hiçbir kitaba bağımlı kalmayacağını anlayacaksın. Çünkü okunacak en büyük kitap, insanın kendi ruhudur.

Dileriz ki bu satırlar seni bize değil, kendi özüne yaklaştırsın. Dileriz ki hakikati başkalarının sözlerinde değil, kendi varlığının derinliklerinde bulabilesin. Ve dileriz ki bu kitabın son sayfasını kapattığında kapanan şeyin kitap değil, seni özünden ayıran son perde olduğunu idrak edesin.

THE BOOK OF ULTIMATE TRUTH

FOREWORD

My dear brother or sister who has somehow come across this book... Know that no encounter is a coincidence. On your way here, you have passed through thorny paths. You have been broken down many times, and you have been wounded many times. The people you believed in abandoned you, and the thoughts you trusted collapsed. Sometimes you could not fit into the world, and sometimes you became estranged from yourself. Yet despite all of this, you are still standing, still breathing. There must certainly be a reason for this. And now, perhaps you are at the deepest breaking point of all your lives. From this point onward, either your old self will continue to live, or your true self, which seeks the Ultimate Truth, will begin to awaken.

Our first advice to you is to forget, for a while, everything you have believed to be true until now. Because the Ultimate Truth cannot fit into a mind that is full. The Ultimate Truth begins to reveal itself only to a consciousness that can dare to empty itself. While reading this book, which religion you belong to, which sect you have adopted, which nation you come from, or what kind of life you have lived has no importance whatsoever at the level of the Ultimate Truth. All of these are identities acquired over time. The only thing that matters to us is that you can truly become human. Because being human does not merely mean possessing a body; it means being able to awaken once again the divine conscience within your essence.

If you are searching in these lines for metaphysical displays, mysterious powers, or extraordinary secrets that will excite your mind, you will not find what you are looking for. But if you are truly seeking the Ultimate Truth, you must be ready to pass through pain. Because the Ultimate Truth is not a reward; the Ultimate Truth is fire. First it burns, then it purifies. First it takes from you everything that you thought did not belong to you, and then it silently reveals what already exists within your essence. Therefore, we ask you to pose this question to yourself: If the Ultimate Truth could be reached within a single lifetime, then what were so many lives, so much pain, so many separations, and so much atonement for? Why would the soul choose to forget again and again, why would it be born again, and why would it begin searching again? Perhaps the Ultimate Truth was never taught; it was merely reminded to the human being.

If you are searching for Hanif creation within these pages, you will not find it here. Because creation cannot be explained or described; creation can only be seen. In order to see it, you must open not your eyes, but your perception. Therefore, do not hurry. Climb the steps slowly, read each sentence by absorbing it, and call upon your essential self at every moment. Because the Ultimate Truth is not a destination that can be reached by running, but an endless journey in which the human being is reborn with every step.

Learn to listen to the voice within you. Try to perceive the knowledge hidden in silence. The path to Akasha—the Divine Memory known as the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz)—does not pass through memorized knowledge, but through pure consciousness. Learn to read, but do so not only with your eyes, but with your conscience. Strive to go beyond dimensions, to transcend the limits of matter, and to avoid becoming attached to names. Because the Ultimate Truth cannot be contained within any concept, any dimension, or any form.

Let your method be your own. Do not blindly imitate anyone else's path. Every soul's journey is unique, and the path that will lead you to the Ultimate Truth may not be someone else's path. But do not move even a millimeter away from your conscience. Because the true compass of the Ultimate Truth is not knowledge, power, or the mind; it is conscience. Yet today, what speaks is not conscience, but the veil woven by your desires, your fears, and your ego. Once you begin to recognize your true conscience, you will understand that you will no longer remain dependent on any book. Because the greatest book to be read is the human being's own soul.

We hope that these lines bring you closer not to us, but to your own essence. We hope that you may find the Ultimate Truth not in the words of others, but in the depths of your own being. And we hope that when you close the final page of this book, you will realize that what has been closed is not the book, but the last veil separating you from your own essence.
