THE DOCTRINE OF SELF-DYNAMICS CHAPTER-26:: THE SOLAR SAGES AND THE QUTB SYSTEM

WHO ARE THE SOLAR SAGES?

One of the most mysterious concepts within ancient esoteric teachings is that of the “Solar Sages.” Different civilizations referred to these beings by different names. In some traditions they were called “Beings of Light,” in others “Luminous Ones,” elsewhere “Celestial Teachers,” and in some teachings “Heavenly Wise Ones.” Yet the essential meaning remains the same: these are beings of higher consciousness not fully bound to dense matter.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Solar Sages are pure spiritual consciousnesses that existed before human history. They are forms of life vibrating beyond the modern understanding of biological bodies, existing primarily as light- and energy-based beings.

For this reason, the symbol of the “sun” here does not represent the physical star, but the source of consciousness.

It is no coincidence that ancient civilizations attributed sacredness to the sun. For the sun is the greatest visible source of light in the world, and within esoteric traditions it is accepted as the symbol of spiritual consciousness. Thus the Solar Sages were described as “bearers of light.”

The concept of pure spiritual beings signifies that they do not possess dense ego structures. During the earliest periods of humanity, before consciousness became fragmented, these beings existed within higher vibrational layers. They were directly connected to cosmic consciousness.

Although esoteric understanding establishes similarities between angels and the Solar Sages, the two concepts are not entirely identical.

Angelic consciousness represents cosmic forces sustaining order, whereas the Solar Sages represent teaching and transformative currents of consciousness.

Certain ancient teachings describe these beings as “bodiless teachers.” For they are not fully bound to physical matter. When necessary they may become visible, and when necessary they may withdraw into energetic form.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, during the first transparent ages humanity possessed a more direct connection with the Solar Sages. Since human consciousness had not yet densified, it could perceive these higher vibrations.

Narratives found in ancient texts concerning “teachers descending from the heavens,” “beings of fire,” “luminous humans,” and “wise figures clothed in light” are regarded as symbolic traces of these ancient contacts.

The concept of radiant consciousness becomes especially important here.

The Solar Sages communicated not primarily through physical speech, but through vibrational transmission. Their knowledge was conveyed as energetic flow before it became words. For this reason, ancient teachings contain concepts such as “revelation,” “inspiration,” “the arising within the heart,” and the “inner voice.”

According to esoteric understanding, when the human mind reaches certain frequencies, it can establish connection with higher layers of consciousness. The Solar Sages are the teaching consciousnesses that emerge at these points of connection.

This is why certain ancient systems especially employed the concept of the “ray.” For ancient sages intuited that thought itself is a form of energetic radiation.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Solar Sages transmitted knowledge through fields of consciousness before the existence of physical writing. During the earliest periods of humanity, knowledge was not stored in memory, but directly within vibrational consciousness itself.

For this reason, ancient teachings contain the concept of “forgotten knowledge.” Humanity lost this high-frequency connection as matter became denser.

The idea of celestial teachers appears in nearly all civilizations.

The sages descending from heaven in Sumer, the star-origin priests of Egypt, the light-bodied masters of Tibet, the figure of Hermes within Hermetic tradition, the bearers of light in Zoroastrian teaching, and the qutbs of Sufi tradition all connect to the same esoteric root.

Ancient humanity believed that wisdom did not originate solely from the earthly realm. For certain forms of knowledge appeared beyond the level of consciousness humanity had attained. Astronomy, sacred geometry, energetic knowledge, and spiritual systems were therefore regarded as “celestial teachings.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Solar Sages are not figures who directly brought religions to humanity, but cosmic teachers guiding the evolution of consciousness.

Their purpose is not to rule humanity through fear, but to remind humanity of its essence.

For this reason, within ancient esoteric systems the true teacher is never regarded as a god to be worshipped. He is merely a bearer of light showing the path.

Expressions found in ancient teachings such as the “sons of light,” the “people of luminosity,” and the “children of fire” also describe this class of consciousness.

The Solar Sages are likewise symbols of transformation.

For they are regarded as precursors of the future state of consciousness humanity itself will attain.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, humanity began as unconscious light, descended into dense matter, and is now journeying back toward conscious light.

The Solar Sages are ancient reflections of this future state.

For this reason, ancient mystical systems contain symbols such as “returning to the sun,” “becoming luminous,” “transition into the body of light,” and “birth from fire.”

All these narratives express the reattainment of higher vibrational consciousness by humanity.

Esoteric teachings do not regard the Solar Sages merely as beings who lived in the past. They are timeless fields of consciousness. When humanity reaches certain spiritual levels, it may reconnect with this consciousness once again.

For this reason, many ancient teachings declare: “Awaken the light within you.”

For the essence of the human being is likewise formed from the same cosmic نور.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Solar Sages are not alien beings outside humanity, but symbols of the higher conscious potential humanity has forgotten.

THE CONCEPT OF THE QUTB

Ancient esoteric teachings held that the universe is not a completely chaotic system. From the movements of the stars to human consciousness, everything was believed to operate within a particular balance. The idea of a central consciousness preserving this balance was described under different names in many traditions. The concept known in Sufism as the “Qutb,” in Hermetic tradition as the “Axis of the World,” in Tibetan teachings as the “Central Master,” and in certain ancient systems as the “Cosmic Pillar,” all point toward the same truth.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Qutb is not merely a human being or spiritual leader. It is the central point of balance within the field of worldly consciousness.

The root of the word “Qutb” itself carries the meanings of axis, center, and pole. Within esoteric understanding, the Qutb is the principal point of connection between the Earth and higher layers of consciousness. For this reason, ancient teachings frequently employ the symbol of the “pillar uniting heaven and Earth.”

This is why ancient civilizations attached importance to sacred mountains, central stones, and vertical columns. For they believed that an invisible central axis existed within the universe.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, just as the human body remains balanced around the spine, the collective consciousness of humanity is balanced around a spiritual center. This central field of consciousness is called the Qutb.

Here emerges the concept of the worldly central consciousness.

According to esoteric teachings, humanity is not merely a random gathering of individuals. All consciousnesses are interconnected through invisible vibrational networks. Every human thought affects the collective field.

The Qutb is the central regulator of this vast network of consciousness.

Within Sufi tradition, the Qutb is sometimes described as a living human being. This is because the central consciousness is believed to manifest through particular individuals during particular eras. Yet according to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Qutb is not merely a physical person. It is more accurately a cosmic center operating through spiritual carriers who have attained certain levels of consciousness.

For this reason, ancient teachings use symbols such as the “lord of the age,” the “pillar of the era,” the “hidden guide,” and the “pole star.”

The role of the Qutb is not to rule humanity through force.

It preserves balance.

For the fundamental law of the universe is founded upon balance. When excessive dark consciousness emerges, balance is disturbed. When excessive chaos appears, energetic fields become shaken. Within esoteric understanding, the collapse of great civilizations is believed to possess not only physical causes, but also causes rooted in consciousness.

For this reason, the concept of spiritual governance becomes important.

In the modern world, governance is generally understood only in political and physical terms. Yet ancient teachings accepted that true governance occurs within the field of consciousness.

The fears, desires, and thought-patterns of a society determine its destiny.

According to esoteric understanding, the Qutb system is the mechanism of balance preventing humanity from descending completely into darkness.

The manner in which this system functions was often expressed symbolically in ancient texts. Concepts such as the “Forty,” the “Seven,” the “Nine,” the “Hidden Sages,” and the “Circle of Light” are different expressions of the same idea of spiritual organization.

Within Sufism there are narratives stating that certain saints uphold the world. Viewed esoterically, this expression possesses not a physical but a consciousness-based meaning. For individuals who attain higher levels of consciousness can influence the collective energetic field.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, particular carriers of consciousness have appeared in every age throughout humanity’s spiritual evolution. At times they appeared as prophets, at times as sages, at times as saints, and at times as nameless guides.

The Qutb system represents this continuity.

The invisibility of the Qutb within ancient teachings is likewise significant. For the true center does not operate through ego. Ostentation and the pursuit of power are incompatible with Qutb-consciousness.

For this reason, many esoteric traditions declare that true sages live in hiddenness. For the central consciousness functions through vibrational influence rather than outward appearance.

The concept of cosmic balance forms the foundation of the teaching of the Qutb.

The universe exists in perpetual motion. Stars revolve, galaxies expand, and energetic fields transform. Human consciousness is likewise part of this movement. If balance is lost, the system moves toward collapse.

Within esoteric teachings, floods, great wars, and the destruction of civilizations are not merely physical events, but consequences of the disruption of conscious balance.

The Qutb system does not entirely prevent such disruptions, but it is regarded as the balancing point preventing humanity from being driven toward complete destruction.

For this reason, ancient texts contain symbols such as: “If the pillar of the world is withdrawn, order collapses.”

The association of the Qutb with the “pole star” within certain teachings is also meaningful. For the pole star appears in the heavens as a central point of orientation. Esoterically, this symbolizes the spiritual center.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, there also exists a qutb-point within the human being.

The essential consciousness within the deep center of the heart is regarded as the individual qutb. When a person loses this inner center, chaos also begins to arise within the outer world.

For this reason, ancient teachings continually speak of “returning to the center.”

The purpose of meditation, dhikr, contemplation, and spiritual discipline is to draw the human being once more toward the inner center.

For without harmony with one’s own essential axis, universal balance cannot be perceived.

Thus, the concept of the Qutb is not merely the idea of a cosmic teacher; it is also the symbol of humanity’s inner center of balance.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, as humanity matures in consciousness in the future, dependence upon external authorities will diminish, and people will begin discovering their own inner qutbs.

And true spiritual transformation will begin precisely there:

At the point where the outer center and the inner center unite…

THE FOUR PERSONS AND THE FOUR RIVERS

In ancient esoteric teachings, the universe was not believed to operate solely through physical laws. It was believed that behind the invisible order there existed layers of consciousness, spiritual duties, and systems of cosmic balance. In Sufism, the Hermetic tradition, ancient Iranian teachings, and certain mystical Jewish interpretations, the idea of “four central powers” is encountered. This structure has sometimes been described as the “Four Angels,” sometimes as the “Four Pillars,” and sometimes as the “Four Bearers.”

In The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, this system is explained through the symbolism of the “Four Persons and the Four Rivers.”

The Qur’anic mention of four rivers flowing in paradise, the Torah’s narrative of the four rivers flowing out of Eden, and the four-direction system found in ancient civilizations all connect to the same esoteric root. For the number four represents the completed balance of cosmic order within the realm of matter.

Ancient sages believed that the universe was founded upon four fundamental flows:

The flow of knowledge…

The flow of life…

The flow of time…

And the flow of consciousness…

The symbol of the Four Rivers describes this invisible cosmic circulation.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Four Persons are symbols of the fundamental fields of consciousness that govern humanity’s spiritual development. Rather than being physical individuals, they are high conscious forces representing particular cosmic duties.

In esoteric teachings, it is said that certain beings “keep records,” others “maintain balance,” and others serve as “guardians.” The origin of these narratives lies in the teaching of the Four Persons.

The concept of cosmic duties becomes important here.

In the ancient understanding, no movement in the universe is unrecorded. Every thought, every intention, and every vibration of consciousness leaves a trace within the universal field. In Sufism this has been called the “book of deeds,” in the Hermetic tradition the “astral record,” and in modern esotericism the “Akashic records.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, human consciousness continually leaves traces within invisible fields of energy. For thought is not merely a mental event, but a vibrational radiation.

One of the Four Persons is regarded as the symbol of this recording system.

For this reason, ancient texts contain narratives of “recording angels,” the “pen of destiny,” and the “hidden book.” From an esoteric perspective, these are not physical books, but cosmic fields in which the vibrations of consciousness are recorded.

The divine recording system is based upon the understanding that time is not linear.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, past, present, and future vibrate simultaneously within different layers of frequency. Because the human mind perceives them in sequence, time appears linear.

Yet at higher levels of consciousness, events are not separated as “what has been” and “what will be.”

The ability of ancient seers, prophets, and saints to perceive certain events beforehand is explained through brief contact with this cosmic field of record.

This is also the mystery described in esoteric teachings as the “Lawh al-Mahfuz.”

Every event is first born as a vibration within the field of consciousness, and only afterward is reflected into matter.

Another duty of the Four Persons is spiritual oversight.

This concept has often been misunderstood. For the modern mind tends to interpret it as invisible beings externally watching people.

Yet in esoteric understanding, spiritual oversight means the continuous balancing of fields of consciousness.

Humanity is not merely an individual existence; it is connected to a collective network of consciousness. The fears, anger, and desires of a society affect the energetic field of the world.

Ancient teachings say that the collapse of great civilizations carries not only physical causes, but also causes rooted in consciousness.

For this reason, the system of the Four Persons has been described as a spiritual network preserving balance.

Narratives found in the Sufi tradition concerning the “invisible saints,” the “Seven,” the “Forty,” and the “circle around the Qutb” are different reflections of the same idea.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the reason humanity does not descend entirely into darkness is that these fields of balance continue to exist.

THE ASCENSION AND THE SYMBOL OF THE YOUTH

One of the deepest symbols in ancient esoteric teachings is the figure of the “Youth.” This figure appears in many cultures. In some places it is described as an immortal guide, in others as a luminous young man, and elsewhere as a timeless sage.

The figure of Khidr in Sufism, the eternal young sage in Hermetic tradition, and the concept of the immortal teacher in certain Eastern teachings are based upon the same esoteric root.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the “Youth” represents an uncorrupted state of consciousness, independent of physical age.

For this reason, in ancient texts wisdom was often depicted not through an aged body, but through a youthful face.

For the soul does not age.

The youth figure appearing in narratives of the Ascension is also part of this symbolism.

In esoteric understanding, the Ascension is not merely a physical rising into the heavens. It is a spiritual passage through layers of consciousness.

Sufi masters have often interpreted the Ascension as the inner ascent of the human being. For the true journey is not made outward, but into the depths of consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the “Youth” seen during the Ascension is the symbol of the higher form of consciousness that humanity can attain.

This figure is sometimes described as the “immortal body.”

In ancient teachings, death was believed to apply only to the physical body. The spiritual body, however, was regarded as less bound to the effects of time.

For this reason, esoteric traditions contain concepts such as the “body of light,” the “luminous body,” and the “immortal body.”

During the first transparent ages, bodies were not as dense as they are today. Therefore, there existed a stronger bond between consciousness and the body. It was believed that certain beings of higher consciousness could transcend matter.

Ancient narratives concerning those who “ascended to heaven without dying,” “merged into light,” and “disappeared as saints” are traces of this ancient understanding.

The immortal body here does not mean that physical flesh lives forever.

It means the liberation of consciousness from complete dependence upon matter.

The mystery of sacrifice also emerges at this point.

In modern interpretations, sacrifice has often been understood merely as a physical ritual of slaughter. Yet in esoteric teachings, the true meaning of sacrifice is the “transformation of the lower self.”

The symbol of sacrifice in the story of Abraham represents the human being’s willingness to surrender what he is most attached to for the sake of the essence.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the true sacrifice is not the animal outside, but the ego-center within.

For in order to reach the essence, humanity must transcend the false self.

The ancient saying “die before you die” also describes this.

Humanity cannot experience spiritual resurrection without transcending the ego-center.

For this reason, the journey of the Ascension is a model of the human being’s inner ascent.

The figure of the Youth is the symbol of the pure state of consciousness reached at the end of this journey.

In ancient esoteric systems, humanity’s ultimate aim is not an ageless body, but an incorruptible consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, humanity gains experience within matter and then consciously transforms once again into light.

The symbol of the Youth is the completed state of this transformation:

A consciousness that has transcended time, united with its essence, and reached its inner light…

MONSTROUS RACES AND CORRUPTION

THOSE WHO DO NOT RECEIVE THE RAY

In ancient esoteric teachings, the fall of humanity is not explained solely through the densification of matter. A resistance within consciousness is also mentioned. This resistance is related to the emergence of certain beings who opposed the flow of higher consciousness. The Theory of Self-Motion explains this process through the concept of “Those Who Do Not Receive the Ray.”

The “ray” here is not physical light. It is the cosmic current of consciousness. It signifies the transmission of spiritual vibrations from the Solar Sages and higher layers of consciousness to humanity. During the first transparent ages, humanity was naturally connected to this energy. Yet as consciousness densified and the ego began to develop, certain beings began to reject this flow.

Figures described in ancient teachings as “refusing to bow,” “rebelling,” or “despising earth because they were made of fire” are symbols of this state of consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the problem of arrogance begins precisely here.

Arrogance is not merely acting superior. In the esoteric sense, arrogance is the self, severed from the essence, imagining itself to be the center. When a human or energetic being sees itself as separate from the whole, it begins to resist the shared flow of consciousness.

In the earliest ages, certain conscious beings looked down upon dense matter. To them, embodiment was a fall. For this reason, they refused to fully establish a bond with the physical world.

Yet according to the law of creation, the purpose of the soul is not to escape matter, but to bring consciousness into matter.

This is the deeper meaning of what is described in esoteric teachings as “Iblis refusing to bow.”

This narrative is not about physical bowing, but is a symbol of conscious disharmony.

Those who do not receive the ray are beings who refuse to harmonize with the cosmic current of consciousness.

The concept of fleeing from consciousness also emerges here.

Ancient teachings say that every soul possesses free will. The soul either approaches its essence or becomes buried in dense matter. Certain consciousnesses, preferring individual power and separation, moved away from the shared field of consciousness.

This disrupted the energetic balance.

During the transparent ages, humanity possessed a more holistic consciousness; but as the ego grew stronger, separation increased. As separation increased, fear appeared. Fear then gave rise to defense and aggression.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, dark consciousness is the product of a consciousness that feels deficiency within its essence.

For when the connection with the essence weakens, humanity tries to gather power from outside itself.

The concept of energy rejection is therefore important.

In ancient esoteric systems, it is said that beings unable to harmonize with high-vibrational energy gradually became heavier. As the human being closes in consciousness, the flow of energy narrows. This causes spiritual hardening.

The condition described in Sufism as the “sealing of the heart,” in Eastern teachings as the “closing of the energy centers,” and in Hermetic traditions as the “dark vibration” refers to the same process.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, those who did not receive the ray began to transform not only spiritually, but also physically. For consciousness and body influence one another.

As consciousness became heavier, the body too became coarse and dense.

The “monstrous races” described in ancient teachings are symbols of this transformation.

ANIMALIZATION

One of the most controversial subjects in esoteric teachings is the process of “animalization.” These narratives do not use the same language as modern biology; rather, they symbolically express transformations based upon consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, during certain periods of humanity, some groups that experienced a fall in consciousness became excessively attached to dense matter and fell under the influence of lower instincts.

Figures described in ancient texts as “half-human” and “half-animal” are symbolic expressions of this corruption of consciousness.

The animal-headed human figures of Egypt, the centaurs of Greek mythology, and the hybrid beings of ancient Mesopotamia all draw from the same esoteric root.

Here emerges the theory of hybridization.

This theory describes the mixture of consciousness more than physical biology. For within esoteric understanding, the human being is not composed merely of the body; the level of consciousness one carries also determines one’s existence.

When humanity completely surrenders to lower instincts, animal consciousness begins to dominate. Ancient teachings interpreted this as the “fall of the soul.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, “becoming monstrous” means the consciousness that has lost its spiritual center sinking into coarse matter.

For this reason, ancient narratives say that certain beings became gigantic, savage, or transformed into half-animal forms.

This transformation is not merely physical, but conscious.

The concept of the first ape is also interpreted differently from an esoteric perspective.

While modern evolutionary theory says that humans descended from apes, The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics offers a symbolic explanation in the opposite direction.

According to this understanding, during certain periods of decline, human-like consciousnesses became excessively attached to lower instincts and developed animal-like characteristics.

The narratives of “fallen races” found in ancient teachings express this regression of consciousness.

The aim here is not to propose an alternative scientific model to modern biology, but to explain the symbolic narrative of spiritual evolution.

For esoteric traditions, the “ape” is not merely a biological creature, but a symbol of consciousness that imitates and acts through instinct.

For this reason, in many ancient texts the unconscious human being is described as an “imitative being.”

The concept of the reverse evolution model also arises from this understanding.

Modern thought often sees evolution only as progress. Yet according to esoteric teachings, consciousness can fall just as it can rise.

A civilization may develop technology while collapsing spiritually.

A person may possess knowledge while losing his essence.

For this reason, ancient teachings do not measure “progress” only through material development.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, true evolution is the strengthening of the bond between consciousness and the essence.

When consciousness moves away from the essence, even technology can turn into an instrument of darkness.

Ancient narratives say that pre-flood civilizations possessed great powers, yet collapsed due to spiritual corruption.

The fundamental cause of this collapse was the unconscious use of energy.

Here, animalization does not mean merely physical instinct, but the loss of the spiritual center.

When humanity begins living solely through bodily desires, its connection with higher layers of consciousness weakens.

In esoteric teachings, the “monster” is more a state of consciousness than an external appearance.

Even if a being is physically human, if it has completely forgotten its essence, it is considered spiritually fallen.

For this reason, within ancient systems, the true struggle is not against an external enemy, but against humanity’s own lower nature.

The “struggle against the nafs” in Sufism, the “transcending of the lower self” in Hermetic traditions, and the “chains of desire” in Eastern teachings all express the same truth.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, humanity is still within this great transformation today.

Although technological progress has accelerated, the balance of consciousness has weakened.

For this reason, ancient teachings are becoming important once again.

Because humanity’s real problem is not a lack of information, but the weakening of its connection with the essence.

Both becoming monstrous and salvation exist within the human being.

GIANT RACES

Narratives of “giant humans” are found in almost all ancient civilizations. The Nephilim in the Torah, the giant kings of Mesopotamia, the Titans of Greek mythology, the large-bodied first humans in ancient Turkish narratives, and the giant warriors found in many folk legends are regarded as parts of the same esoteric memory.

Modern historical understanding has often interpreted these narratives as exaggerated myths. Yet according to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the narrative of the “Giant Races” carries symbolic records of humanity’s ancient structures of consciousness and body.

According to esoteric teachings, humanity did not reach its present state all at once. In the transitional periods following the ages of transparent bodies, bodies were both larger and more sensitive to energy. For although matter had become denser, it had not yet hardened as much as it has today.

The concept of a pre-Atlantean civilization becomes important here.

In ancient teachings, Atlantis is not merely a lost continent, but the symbol of a high civilization that lost its balance. Esoteric sources describe that before Atlantis, humanity established civilizations that were more intuitive and energy-based.

In these ages, technology was based not on the mechanical system of today, but upon the control of energy.

Humanity could use the vibrations of nature more directly and interpreted the movements of the stars not only through astronomy, but also together with their effects upon consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Giant Races were human forms that emerged during these transitional periods.

The great size of their bodies does not signify physical strength alone. It also represents the capacity to carry intense energy.

The fact that giants are described in ancient teachings as “close to the heavens,” “long-lived,” and “extraordinarily powerful” arises from the belief that their energetic fields differed from those of modern humanity.

According to esoteric understanding, the first physical bodies had not yet fully densified. Therefore, bodies were both large and more resilient. The Earth’s magnetic structure, atmospheric density, and energetic fields were also different.

Certain ancient narratives say that giant humans could easily carry stones, construct immense structures, and direct the forces of nature.

For this reason, pyramids, megalithic stone structures, and unexplained great ancient architectures have been associated in esoteric interpretations with ancient energy civilizations.

The concept of giant bodies does not refer only to physical size, but also to expanded capacity of consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the first physical humanity was not as narrow in consciousness as modern humanity. Some intuitive abilities from the transparent ages were still preserved. Humanity could sense both the physical world and energetic fields.

This is where the narrative of third-eyed humans arises.

The reason ancient civilizations placed great importance on the forehead region lies here. The sacred eye symbols of Egypt, the forehead center in Indian teachings, and the forehead marks seen in certain ancient figures are traces of the teaching of the third eye.

The third eye is not a physical organ, but the center of spiritual perception.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, during the era of the Giant Races, this perception had not yet completely closed. Humanity could sense energetic fields, cosmic currents, and vibrations of consciousness.

For this reason, ancient texts describe “humans who saw the heavens,” “kings who spoke with spirits,” and “wise ones who heard the light.”

Within esoteric traditions, the third eye is also associated with the perception of time. For intuitive consciousness can partially move beyond linear time. Certain ancient narratives say that giant sages could see the future or remember past ages.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, this was not a physical miracle, but access to different layers of consciousness.

The most important characteristic of pre-Atlantean civilizations was that they used energy through consciousness.

While modern humanity develops technology through mechanical tools, ancient civilizations are believed to have been closer to the knowledge of vibration and resonance.

Ancient teachings describe the lifting of stones through sound, the directing of energy through thought, and structures functioning with crystal-like systems.

All these narratives should be regarded not as literal physical history, but as symbolic memory of the technology of consciousness.

Yet esoteric teachings also speak of a great corruption at the end of the age of the Giant Races.

For as power increased, the ego also grew.

Humanity began using high energy not through essential consciousness, but for individual gain. Thus spiritual balance was disturbed.

Ancient narratives describing giants as becoming “tyrannical,” “filled with wrath,” or “waging war against heaven” are symbols of this shift in consciousness.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the collapse of pre-Atlantean civilizations arose not from technological insufficiency, but from corruption of consciousness.

When energetic knowledge is used without moral maturity, it becomes destructive.

For this reason, esoteric teachings contain narratives of floods, rains of fire, and the sinking of continents.

With the end of the age of the Giant Races, humanity entered smaller yet denser physical bodies. Intuitive perception weakened. The third eye largely closed. As humanity turned toward the external world, it began losing its inner connection.

Yet the ancient memory was not completely erased.

Narratives of giant humans continued to be told in mythologies, sacred texts, and folk legends.

For humanity still carries traces of the ancient ages within its subconscious.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the Giant Races are not merely physical communities that lived in the past; they are symbols of the expanded capacity of consciousness humanity has lost.

In the future, humanity will once again reach higher levels of consciousness. Yet this time the aim will not be physical giantness, but spiritual maturity.

True greatness belongs not to the body, but to the expansion of consciousness.

THE AGE OF BLACK MAGIC

In ancient esoteric teachings, certain periods of human history are described as “dark ages.” These are not merely times when wars or physical destruction increased. The true darkness is the distancing of consciousness from the essence. According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, the “Age of Black Magic” refers to the great period of rupture during which humanity began using the knowledge of energy without spiritual maturity.

During the transition from the transparent ages into the physical ages, humanity still preserved certain knowledge concerning the ancient energetic systems. During the era of the Giant Races, this knowledge was extremely powerful. Humanity could influence vibrations, direct fields of consciousness, and establish connection with the energies of nature.

Yet as the ego grew, this knowledge began separating from the essence.

This is what ancient teachings describe as “forbidden knowledge,” “dark secrets,” and the “arts of shadow.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, black magic is not merely composed of rituals or spoken formulas. It is the use of energy severed from essential consciousness.

In other words, it is the use of power for domination rather than balance.

In the earliest periods, knowledge of energy was taught within cosmic harmony. For according to the ancient sages, energy itself was neutral; it was consciousness that directed it.

Yet when humanity became consumed by the desire for individual power, the knowledge of energy began to darken.

Narratives found in ancient texts concerning “fallen priests,” “forbidden teachers,” and “shadow sorcerers” are symbols of this corruption of consciousness.

The concept of soul-loss becomes especially important here.

According to esoteric teachings, the human being never completely loses the soul, but may weaken the connection to it. When humanity begins living solely through material desires, it forgets its inner center.

This condition was described in ancient mystical systems as the “sleep of the soul” or the “darkening of the heart.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, soul-loss is the surrender of essential consciousness to the material self.

In the earliest ages, humanity existed in harmony with energy. Yet over time, energy became transformed into an instrument of domination. Humanity ceased cooperating with nature and instead attempted to control it.

This is the beginning of the Age of Black Magic.

Certain narratives of ancient civilizations say that humanity forcibly used stellar energies, attempted to dominate the forces of nature, and manipulated fields of consciousness.

Although these narratives do not literally describe modern technology, they represent an esoteric memory concerning the misuse of conscious power.

The concept of the ifrit systems also emerges within this context.

In esoteric traditions, the “ifrit” is not merely a terrifying being, but a form of consciousness operating through dense and coarse energy. In Sufism and ancient Eastern teachings, certain energetic beings are described as bound to heavy vibrations.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, as humanity declined in consciousness, it began harmonizing with these dense energetic fields.

Thus fear, anger, violence, and the desire for domination began feeding the collective consciousness.

Figures found in ancient texts such as “kings ruling over jinn,” “dark temples,” and “underworld sages” are symbolic narratives of this process.

The ifrit systems represent the connection consciousness establishes with lower vibrations.

For this reason, ancient teachings declare the energy of fear to be extremely dangerous. For fear separates humanity from its essential center and renders it vulnerable to external influences.

During the Age of Black Magic, humanity began using energy not for elevation, but for influencing and controlling others.

This process led not only to individual decline, but also to the collapse of entire societies.

It is said that the great catastrophes within the Atlantis narratives were likewise caused by this corruption of consciousness. For when energetic technology was used without spiritual maturity, balance was destroyed.

Within esoteric teachings, symbols such as the “wrath of heaven,” “rains of fire,” and the “sinking of continents” describe the great destruction brought about by this energetic imbalance.

The concept of the fall of consciousness is the most important point here.

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, humanity’s true fall is not physical, but conscious.

As humanity learned to control the outer world, it began losing its inner world.

Intuition weakened.

The third eye closed.

The heart center grew heavy.

Humanity began perceiving itself merely as the body.

Thus the fear of death increased. As the fear of death increased, the desire for power grew. As the desire for power grew, dark systems became stronger.

For this reason, ancient sages declared: “The greatest battle is within the human being himself.”

For the true black magic is humanity forgetting its own essence.

Within esoteric teachings, the end of every dark age is always accompanied by a process of “awakening.” For the essence is never completely destroyed. No matter how far humanity falls, it still carries within itself a spark from the primordial light.

In Sufism this is called the “light of fitrah,” in Hermetic tradition the “inner light,” and in Eastern teachings the “deathless essence.”

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, humanity today is still experiencing the final effects of the Age of Black Magic.

Although modern technology has developed extraordinarily, human consciousness has not matured at the same speed.

For this reason, while information increases in our age, peace diminishes.

Ancient teachings connect the salvation of the future not to technology, but to the transformation of consciousness.

For the knowledge of energy is once again in humanity’s hands.

But now the question is this:

Will humanity use this power through essential consciousness, or will it repeat the old dark cycle once again?

According to The Doctrine of Self-Dynamics, this is precisely what will determine the future of humanity.
