FOREWORD

Dear brother or sister who has, in one way or another, come across this book... Know that everything, within a divine law, is intricately bound to a numerical code. It seems that you have arrived at the gate of the Ultimate Truth... At times, you could not fit into this world; at times, you became estranged from yourself. Yet despite all of this, you are still standing, still breathing. And now, perhaps, you are at the deepest breaking point of all your lifetimes. From this point onward, you will either continue to live with your old self, or your true self—the one that seeks the Ultimate Truth—will begin to awaken.

Our first advice to you is to forget, for a while, everything you have believed to be true until now. For the Ultimate Truth cannot fit into a mind that is already full. The Ultimate Truth begins to reveal itself only to a consciousness willing to risk emptying itself. Which religion you belong to, which sect you embrace, which nation you come from, or what kind of life you have lived has no importance whatsoever at the level of the Ultimate Truth. All of these are identities acquired over time. To be human is not merely to possess a body, but to be able to reawaken the divine conscience within your essence.

If, within these lines, you are looking for metaphysical displays, mysterious powers, or extraordinary secrets that will excite your mind, you will not find what you seek. But if you truly seek the Ultimate Truth, you must be ready to pass through suffering. For the Ultimate Truth is not a reward; the Ultimate Truth is fire. First it burns, then it purifies. First it takes from you everything you thought belonged to you, and then it silently reveals what already exists within your essence. This is the secret of the “Silent Voice.” If the Ultimate Truth could be attained within a single lifetime, then what were all these lives, all this suffering, all these separations, and all this atonement for? Why would the Spirit choose to forget again and again, why would it be reborn, and why would it begin searching once more? Perhaps the Ultimate Truth was never taught; it was merely remembered by the human being.

If you are looking for the Hanif creation within these pages, you will not find it here either. For creation cannot be explained or described; creation can only be seen. In order to see it, you must open not your eyes, but your perception. Therefore, do not rush. Direct all your energy toward your right brain and strive to become initiated into the secret of creation. Make an effort to do this every day, every minute, every second of your life; for there is nothing for the human being except what he strives for. Ascend the steps slowly, read every sentence by absorbing it, and call upon your essential self (Rabb) at every moment. For the Ultimate Truth is not a destination to be reached by running, but an endless journey in which the human being is reborn with every step.

Learn to listen to the voice within you. Try to become aware of the knowledge hidden within silence. The path to reaching the Akasha (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz, the Preserved Tablet) does not pass through memorized teachings, but through pure consciousness. Learn to read; but try to do so not merely with your eyes, but with your Fuad. For the only key to passing into the dimension of the Ultimate Truth is the gate of the Fuad... Strive to go beyond dimensions, to transcend the boundaries of matter, and not to remain dependent on names. For the Ultimate Truth cannot be contained within any concept, any dimension, any name, or any form.

Let your method be unique to you. Do not blindly imitate anyone else’s path. Every spirit’s journey is unique to itself, and the path that will lead you to the Ultimate Truth belongs only to your Spirit. Do not involve yourself in any tariqa, sect, religious community, or similar organization. Your Rabb is closer to you than you are to yourself; He is not beyond your jugular vein. Whatever you seek, seek it only within yourself, within your spirit. THIS IS THE ONLY GATE THAT WILL CARRY YOU TO YOUR ESSENCE! Do not stray even a single millimeter from your conscience. For the true compass of the Ultimate Truth is not knowledge, power, or the mind; it is the Spirit. Yet what speaks today is not conscience, but the veil covered by your desires, fears, and nafs. Strive to lift the seven-layered veil until your final breath. Instead of concerning yourself with the speck in other people’s eyes, try to remove the beam from your own eye. For the only place you can reach through arrogance and ego is ARAF, nowhere else... When you begin to recognize your true conscience, you will understand that you will no longer remain dependent on any book. For the greatest book to be read is the human being’s own spirit. We hope that when you close the final page of this book, you will realize that what has closed is not the book, but the final veil separating you from your essence.
